July Schedule is out. Reminder that our Youth Tennis Camps have started and will be out on the courts starting at 9:00am. Tennis instructor does not mind if pickleball is there until 9:30ish. We do have some upcoming weeks where we will have over 20 campers taking tennis lessons.
New signs will be posted at the Tennis Courts tomorrow morning.

Having the Rec Center 'govern' use of these courts seems like an unsuccessful experiment. There are those of us (Adv. Intermediate / Advanced) who would like to use these courts because we live nearby and/or don't like the MHS courts. The result is that a group of us who would have liked to play on the Montpelier Rec courts are turned off to using them at all. This, combined with the less than welcome environment at the MHS courts, has resulted in many of us not bothering to sign up or play at all. I strongly recommend rethinking this strategy and being more inclusive of all players. I would think that we would celebrate interest and participation. Imposing limits and guidelines has simply killed all interest. Not a desirable outcome.
