Montpelier Recreation Department is excited to start hosting outdoor pickleball session out on Elm St. Tennis Courts. All levels are invited to play. (Beginner, Beg/Inter, Intermediate, & Inter/Advanced)
We encourage players to use 2 of the 4 outdoor courts; 12 player max. (6 players per court). If more come to play and there is room on the courts, you may definitely use another court as well. Bring your own paddle and balls.

I’m at Elm St. now. No rain, sun coming out, some courts are playable here, I’ve served a few with no issues and court surface has decent grip.
It’s 10:20 with no shows, so headed to high school courts now to see what’s up there.
Sorry Steve! Ended up having kid stuff to deal with. More dry days coming soon!
It’s fine by me to play here at high school, too. Sun shining through now and surface damp but playable and drying well.

Montpelier Recreation runs Spring Tennis Clinics for youth Tuesday - Thursday; betweeenm 3:00pm - 5:00pm
May - early June.
Summer Tennis Camps start June 24 and will go through August 23, 2024
Courts will not be available between the hours of 9am - 12pm during Tennis Camp hours.
Pickleball Sessions:
Sessions are organized through the Rec Dept. located at 55 Barre St. If you wish to add an event/session at our Elm St. Courts location, please come by the Rec Center during open hours. We will be happy to assit you.
